Finding a qualification

QiW is available for use by awarding bodies, schools, colleges and learners as required.

The search function on the site is open to all users and recognised awarding bodies have their own accounts to access and update information.  

The database can be used to: 

  • search for and view qualification records 
  • compare qualification information 
  • export, save and print off qualification data 

The database holds information including: 

  • qualification titles 
  • qualification approval or designation numbers 
  • details of the qualification awarding body
  • qualification start and end dates 
  • links to further qualification information
  • additional Welsh Government information
