Have Your Say on Summer 2024 Exams
With exams and assessments underway for learners across Wales, Qualifications Wales has launched a survey to gather feedback
Qualifications Wales is inviting learners, educators, parents, carers, and other interested parties, to share their views about this summer’s GCSE, AS, A level and Level 2/3 Health and Social Care, and Childcare exams.
By listening to the experiences of learners throughout the exam series, Qualifications Wales can identify key themes which can be discussed with awarding bodies. Survey responses also provide the regulator with valuable insight into learners’ views and experiences of the exam papers, which can be used to inform future monitoring work.
The short survey can be completed in English or Welsh, and covers topics such as:
- whether you felt that the exam paper(s) covered the topics studied
- the level of demand (how easy or difficult you found it)
- whether you felt there was enough time to complete the questions
- any other feedback
Respondents can comment on any exam taken within the summer series. The survey should take around five minutes to complete, and all responses are completely anonymous.
Qualifications Wales has designed posters for centre staff to print and display in staffrooms, exam notice boards or near the main exam room.

The survey will close on Monday 8 July, a few weeks after the final examinations.
Qualifications Wales will monitor the survey responses throughout the series, publish a summary of the responses later this year, after the results have been published, and use the feedback to inform future exam series.
