Learners across Wales sit GCSE exams this month
Today marks the start of the November GCSE exam series for learners sitting papers in English Language, Mathematics – Numeracy, Mathematics, and Welsh Language.
At Qualifications Wales, we oversee WJEC’s delivery and awarding of the exam series to ensure that grade boundaries are set appropriately and that standards are maintained from previous series.
As with all exam sessions, grade boundaries may shift to account for variations in exam difficulty, helping to ensure fairness for all learners.
Key dates to note:

Thursday 6 November 2025 - Entry data for the November series will be published on the Qualifications Wales website

Thursday 8 January 2026 – Learners will receive results for exams taken this month
