Learners in Wales receive GCSE results for November exams

Congratulations to learners across Wales who are receiving their GCSE results today for exams taken in November 2025.

The November exam series included four GCSE subjects: 

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Mathematics – Numeracy
  • Welsh Language 

In total, there were 26,300 entries in November 2025, up 9.9% from 23,930 in November 2024. Entries increased for all subjects available in the November exam series.  

Mathematics – Numeracy remains the largest November entry subject, making up 52.8% of total entries in 2025, compared to 53.5% in 2024.  

In November 2025, 88.0% of GCSE entries were for Year 11 learners, a similar proportion as in 2024.
