Pob lwc to all learners taking exams and assessments

As we approach the Easter break, many learners across the country continue to prepare for their exams and assessments that will take place from May. Ashok Ahir, Director of Communications and Engagement at Qualifications Wales, says pob lwc to learners and shares where they can access support.

In a few weeks, the annual summer exam and assessment series will begin, and learners will get the chance to show what they know and can do as they complete their qualifications. Sitting exams and completing assessments means that learners will receive grades to support them as they embark on their future plans.

Whilst Easter is a welcome chance for learners and teaching staff to relax and recharge, it's also a useful time to get started on revision ahead of the busy exam period. There are plenty of resources and support available for learners as they get ready for the weeks ahead.

We understand that preparing for exams and assessments can be a difficult time. Whether you are taking general qualifications, vocational qualifications, or both, there is a wide range of resources and support available to help you take this important step in your education:

  • schools and colleges are always the first point of contact for any questions
  • awarding bodies also offer a range of support and resources
  • revision guides, top tips for staying motivated and wellbeing support are available via Welsh Government’s Power Up Hub
  • Qualifications Wales has created a special learner guide and there's also lots of information on our website

All of us at Qualifications Wales would like to say a huge pob lwc to all learners taking exams and assessments this year. Well done for all the effort you’ve made. You have already come so far in your educational achievements – good luck with your next steps.
