Review of vocational qualifications in Wales
Welsh Government has published a review of vocational qualifications on offer to learners and employers in Wales and recommendations to Welsh ministers.
We are pleased to have been able to act in an advisory role in this important review and welcome the publication of its findings.
It is reassuring to see vocational qualifications receiving the recognition they deserve and that the report highlights the strengths and benefits of our approach to reviewing such qualifications.
We are already working on many of the recommendations outlined in the review, and will continue to do so, as we reform qualifications for 16-19 year olds.
We will now be considering the findings in full and reflecting on how they can help inform our future planning.
