37,605 certificates were awarded in quarter 1 of 2025. This is a 2.8% decrease compared to the same quarter in 2024.
Between April 2024 and March 2025, 271,900 certificates were awarded, an increase of 3.9% compared to the previous year.
Compared to Q1 2024, 5 of the 10 levels saw an decrease in certificates in Q1 2025. Level 3 qualifications saw the largest decrease in the number of certificates
Compared to Q1 2024, 8 of the 15 sectors saw a decrease in certificates in Q1 2025. The largest decrease was in ‘Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies‘.
