Vocational and Other Qualifications Quarterly: Quarter 2 (April to June) 2025 for Wales
A quarterly release that presents data on vocational and other qualification certifications for Wales for the latest quarter.
Key Points:
- 71,815 certificates were awarded in quarter 2 of 2025. This is a 1.9% increase compared to the same quarter in 2024.
- Between July 2024 and June 2025, 273,205 certificates were awarded, a decrease of 0.7% compared to the previous year.
- Compared to Q2 2024, 8 of the 15 sectors saw a decrease in certificates in Q2 2025. The largest decrease was in ‘Health, Public Services and Care’.
- Compared to Q2 2024, 5 of the 10 levels saw an increase in certificates in Q2 2025. Level 2 qualifications saw the largest increase in the number of certificates.
