Vocational and Other Qualifications Quarterly: Quarter 2 (April to June) 2026 for Wales
A quarterly release that presents data on vocational and other qualification certifications for Wales for the latest quarter.
Key Points:
- 72,185 certificates were awarded in quarter 2 of 2026. This is a 0.5% increase compared to the same quarter in 2025.
- Between July 2025 and June 2026, 280,405 certificates were awarded, an increase of 2.6% compared to the previous year.
- Compared to Q2 2025, 5 of the 15 sectors saw an increase in certificates in Q2 2026. The largest increase was in ‘Business, Administration and Law’.
- Compared to Q2 2025, 5 of the 10 levels saw an increase in certificates in Q2 2026. Level 2 qualifications saw the largest increase in the number of certificates.
