39,670 certificates were awarded in quarter 4 of 2024. This is a 6.7% decrease compared to the same quarter in 2023
Between January 2024 and December 2024, 272,990 certificates were awarded, an increase of 4.7% compared to the previous year.
Compared to Q4 2023, 5 of the 10 levels saw an increase in certificates in Q4 2024. Level 2 qualifications saw the largest decrease in the number of certificates.
Compared to Q4 2023, 10 of the 15 sectors saw a decrease in certificates in Q4 2024. The largest decrease was in 'Health, Public Services and Care'
